The remote display (TV / projector)
Last reviewed: June 17, 2026
The remote display is a second screen you put on a TV, projector, or extra monitor so the whole room can see the action — separate from your control (caller) screen.
Opening it: On the caller screen, tap Open remote. It opens at app.dauberhq.com/r/... in a new tab, which you can drag to your second monitor or open on a connected device.
What it shows: A large current ball and the full board, with optional overlays you control — the winning pattern, recent calls, QR code, and join URL. You can toggle each overlay on or off, choose Hero / Split / Big layouts, set its own theme, and hide the header for a clean full-screen look. It also shows a live viewer count.
It stays perfectly in sync with your caller screen over the same live connection, so every number and overlay change appears instantly.
Player screen vs. remote display: The player screen (/p/...) is for individual players on their phones. The remote display (/r/...) is a room-facing big screen with extra controls like showing the join QR code for latecomers.
