The player screen

This is what your players see at app.dauberhq.com/p/.... No login required.

It shows:

  • The current number — large, with its letter (e.g. "B 7"), plus the call count.
  • The full board — all numbers, with called ones highlighted and the newest one emphasized.
  • The winning pattern — if the host selected one, players see exactly which cells make a win, with the pattern's name in the header.
  • Recent calls — a strip or list of the last several numbers.

Everything updates live as the host calls — no refreshing needed. The player screen is view-only; players can't draw or mark numbers in the app.

Player controls (small set):

  • Theme — Light, Dark, or Auto.
  • Layout (on larger screens) — Hero, Split, or Big.
  • Show/hide recent calls and show/hide the pattern.

On phones, the screen automatically uses a swipeable mobile layout (and adapts to portrait or landscape).

Messages players might see:

  • "This game hasn't started yet" — the host hasn't begun. It switches over automatically when they start.
  • "This session has reached its viewer limit" — the host is on the Free plan and has hit the player cap. See plan limits.
  • "This session has ended" — the host ended the game.
  • "This session doesn't exist" — the link is wrong or the game has expired; ask the host for a fresh link.
